Is it true this game is going to be on DS?

On the EBGames website it says that there will be a DS version of the game. Can anyone confirm somehow?

FF:CC on DS would be incredibly fun with wireless multiplayer.

Square has confirmed it repeatedly in the lists they've released of upcoming games.

Yep, it's been stated several places, like here, here, and here, for starters. So yeah, it's planned to happen.

I'm looking forward to it, having two screens should make the game infinitely easier and faster.

I feel you on that DJZen, having two screens would help out on that game. I, on the other hand, would feel that it could make it easier having one screen to post the map and other options that you might have, and the other to be the central screen that you would actually play on. Though, it might make it easier if it would support Multi-player that way you would be able to use a connect cable (Such as the GBA cable)

I think this game will appeal a lot more to people on the NDS than it did on the NGC.
4 players with NGC = 4 GBAs, 4 link cables, 1 NGC and having to gather 4 friends at home. Now it's just 4 NDSes, and you can play anywhere, like in class :p. Well, everyone would need the game too, but let's not take that into consideration. :p
