Hades

What level , and with what characters did you defeat Hades with ? I personally found him to be a bit of a pushover , defeating him while my characters were in their Level 60's with little trouble - would you say he's blade fodder compared to characters like Ozma, Necron or anyone else in the game ?

i did it with level 60 (ish..) and with quina, dagger, steiner and zidane.

I used Zidane, Dagger, Steiner and Vivi around level 60. Since I had Excalibur, Steiner did maximum damage with every attack and the fight was easy (until he cursed me, anyway :mad2: )

PS. Does anyone else here recognize the music from when you fight Hades as being from FF8 when the SeeDs land at the beach during the Dollet mssion?

The music is Hunter's Chance. Plays during the Festival of the Hunt on disc 1. It's one of my favourite pieces of FFIX music.

Hades was a rather disappointing battle. I went all out of him, expecting him to be a difficult boss and before I knew it, it was over =/

they made Hades too easy, i have never died against him and he has no good attacks :choc:

Actually, Curse can be good if you forget to protect against status attacks...... :sweatdrop

I don't even remember it was ages ago, but I do remember wiping the floor with him.

And Ozma is all about luck, it took me 3 trys to beat him because the first 2 times he used the Status changing attack.

yeah - i think I beat him at level 40!!! actually I beat then game with an average party level of 45. I heard (before fighting him) that he was a worthy adversary - however he didn't even kill one of my characters - I managed to pummel him with steiner in Trance before he made 5 moves.

Hey hades is extremely easy, and yes i've been hunting the song of Hades. i got impressed by the batlle song of hades.

Azotar - The Hades music is the same music as when you are doing the fiend battles at Lindbulm - you know, the one where you have a time limit of 20:00.
It can be obtained from BlueLaguna.net but I'm not sure what name it comes under yet.
I'll get back to you when I find out.
