are they updating ff7 and adding new stuff to it on a new ps2 version?
i heard they were adding new weapons, updating graphics, adding new armor and weapons,and 3 new dungeons. is this true? my friend said he saw it in a magazine. and i'm not talking about the dierge of cerberus.
Square hasnt said anything about it.
Square has been quoted saying that they are not re-making any FF games if they can lready be played on the current system. So that means, unless Square's changes their minds, no FFVII-IX remake unless they make the PS3 Hardware incompatible with PS1 games.
Where do people dig this crap up?
There's not gonna be a remake. But what your friend's talking about almost sounds like FF:Dawn of Souls (FF1 and 2) for GBA. o_OQuote:

They havent said zilch. They've said they wont do it as long as it can be played on backwards compatible systems, as Camanche has mentioned.
This rumor gets done to death. If there was going to be a remake, there would be a lot more buzz about it. Feel free to check eyesonff.com for news updates.
