Chrono Trigger Help

Hello all!

Quick question. If anyone is able to help out that'd be great. I'm playing Chrono Trigger on my SNES Emulator and am having trouble getting passed a certain spot. In the Factory Ruins, I can't seem to enter the code XABY into the console. It says "Enter Password" but when I press A (after pressing X), the dialog box disapears and I'm back to square one. Anyone else had this problem at this spot? I'm using a USB controller, not a keyboard (but even the keyboard was of no help when I tried it).

In your config, set all those buttons to one. Like, for example, if you have an A key, set X, A, B, and Y, to A and do the password. Then reset your stuff after you're done.

In case you wanted to know what was wrong with your emulator, you need to push A to clear the dialog box before you enter XABY.
