Lift Stop Problems

Okay, so I've got all the way to Hollow Bastion on my own... okay with the help of a guide but, eh. I've just put the emblem pieces in, then I went around the Lift Stops for a while, trying to work it out on my own. But then when I got stuck I went to the guide and did what it told me to However... I think I might have screwed it up somewhere. Is there any way to reset the level, or can someone give me a hand. The first lift through the emblem door will only take me to the Waterway or to a level where there's just a platform and nothing more. Thank you for helping, thou art lovely.

to get back to the start just go outside and jump off the edge nd ull eventually end up at the strt of hollow bastion! then all u need 2 do is go back inside, through the door and to the lift stop!
