Or am I just thinking to hard....?

I just finished the game at 99%completion and saw the ending where (SPOILER)Yuna and Tidus are reunited I'm so happy. :D But it got me thinking Tidus is a dream of the fayth right? and while their dream is a representation of the past it's not a perfect one so could that mean that Tidus is based on Shuyin? :confused:

Tidus might have some very slight connection to Shuyin.
Here's the deal... the 'dream city' of Zanarkand was generated from the memories of the summoners and others who became Fayth. Some of them might've known Shuyin.

After they began dreaming, the dream ran for a thousand years - dream people were born, lived and died. Time passes in the dream world just as it does in the real world, so there's no way that Tidus is one of the original dream people.

Shuyin is pretty obviously the real person upon whom Tidus the dream person was based.

Did'nt all the summoners in the war give there lives and become fayths Tidus is most likely the dream of Lenne... Don't you think... well there is a problem with that lenne died with Shuyin infront of vegnagun mabey after that she became a fayth and dreamed up tidus? :confused:

Were the situation different the same might be said that Lenne is the real person upon which Yuna was dreamt. One of the themes of this game is connection and how people are all connected to one another. Yuna and Lenne obviously have a connection in this game, sharing many aspects of one another, even their similar appearance (not so much as Shuyin and Tidus at first glance but they do, long hair does a lot to change one's appearance).
