It is a Gunblade, yes, but its design is not at all like that of the Gunblades in Final Fantasy VIII. Most notably, these in Advent Children actually fire bullets. Their name, by the way, for anyone who cares is "Velvet Nightmare."

On another note, even though the Velvet Nightmare is called a "gunblade" it only functions as a gun, not a blade. (At least, that's what I understand.)

And while we're on the topic of weapons--I thought that Loz's primary weapon was that arm thingy he wore (yeah, I know that's not the technical term, so sue me :p), not a gunblade. Or am I getting my characters mixed up again?
Edit:You know, as soon as I posted this I found like six screenshots of Loz using the gunblade thingy too. Never mind...geez, I'm a dork. :riiight: *hits self in head*

Loz's arm thing is weird as it fires blue things that hurt cloud i never saw it

ok Yazoo is seen using it more than the other SHM but you see different types of shots fired massive blue single loaders and rapid motion red fires

I see. Does Kadaj use a Velvet Nightmare as well? The only thing I've ever remembered seeing him use was his two-bladed sword.
