Stereotyping?

I was chatting to a mate who well....to put it lightly doesn't like FF or games consoles for that matter, who said everyone who is on this site is fat and lazy. I dutifully said that was a horible stereotype and well...just plain nasty. But anyway Stereotypes are usually based on fact i.e. chavs being mean spirited theives. I know alot like that but some that arn't and are lovley people (I'll get to the point eventually) So how many people on here are "overweight"? I am but i wouldn't say lazy!

i am overweight. put on a bit recently too. my mum says i'm obeses :-/ i don't think i am, buti'm not thin.

I consider myself overweight, but I'm not lazy, and I'm not a scary manly-girl like most people stereotype gamer girls to be.

I would venture to say that the people here are more attractive, on average, than people would normally suspect. Just look at the album. Lots of hotties!

That said, I'm average weight and lazy in some areas of life, and very unlazy in others. ^_^

I'm veeerrry lazy. My sink is perpetually full of dishes and I never get anything done.

And just recently I've started gaining weight but I'm hoping it's because I'm pregnant. I'll be depressed if I'm just getting fat. :(

I've found that most stereotypes are based on small, small grains of truth.

Apparantly my BMI is a low average (Bordering on underweight) and I am lazy.

I'm dangerously underweight, and lazy. I don't know how i'm underweight, though. I eat a lot (more than I should), and I don't gain weight.

I'm not lazy per say...I'm just very devoted to the procrastinating lifestyle.

And I'm not overweight or underweight, I'm right where I should be for my age and height.

Stereotypes are silly.
