What's the villain achretype of the poster above you?
What do you feel is the best achretype for the poster above you? If you have ever been exposed to comic books you know these types.
Petty Thugs:
These guys are the small-timers that super heroes beat the crap out of when they're having a bad day. The Beetle, The Riddler, they all have some wierd gizmo or interesting gimmick that makes them special but they don't have the brains nor the brawn to makeup a really threatning profolio. Most of Spiderman's rogues gallerly fall under this category. If they just robbed one bank then kept a low-profile they could get away scott free. But they're far too arrogant (or just plain immature.) for that and instead get throttled. But they're ever persistant.
Coporate Juggarnauts:
These guys have connections, they're the legal evil that everyone can't stand but can do little about. They control the police, have immunities, guys like Lex Luthor and Kingpin have too many conspiracies of crime to ever really be tackled and killing them would only put you in a world of danger. Thier only weakness seems to be thier greed which makes them have to backtrack thier steps or just giveup thier plan entirely.
The Evil Organizations:
Hydra, AIM, all these faceless douches are crap and get pummeld by the dozens, yet they're supposedly super genious terrorists meanwhile where trashcans or rags on thier heads. Most evil organizations are in Captam America's enemy list. These guys could just serve no real purpose but to get a butt-whoopin'.
World Conquerers:
These guys want to take over the world because they think it would be a better place if they did. (And sometimes they may even be right.) Alot of villains could fall under this category but the most well known is Dr.Doom. About the only weakness of world conquerers is thier inflated ego which sets them back so much. Dr.Doom wasn't happy with the Silver Surfer's power and had to go for Galactus'es, and that is why he failed.
Political Zealots:
Often confused with world dominators, political zealots don't want to control the world, they just want it to think like they do. Strangely enough these guys are the most vague because if they ever got thier wish they'd have nothing left to shoot for, if the world was madeup of only mutants Magneto would have to go home. If people were all skin-heads The Red Skull would have to pick up a hobby.
The Crazies:
These guys scare the crap out of everybody. Wether it be Carnage and his total slaughter philosophy or The Joker and his crazy inner world, these wierdos make even the bravest of heroes spines chill. If they actually were able to have some self-control they could perhaps be the most deadly villains of them all. But Carnage is way too bonkers to just kill his enemies then hide somewhere for a while, and The Joker though an elaborate planner is far too random to stick to the plan without messing it up somehow.
The Forces of Nature:
These guys arn't evil or atleast don't perceive them as such. "Galactus is above good and evil, Galactus is above anger". Despite it being a little over the top he means it. Some cosmic cycle has demanded Eternity act cruel and the Death take lives. And fighting these entities is ussualy a waste of your time and energy. About thier only real weakness is thier own inner hummanity which sometimes manifests and which causes Galactus to NOT eat a planet or let Death allow you to live a little longer or whatever.
The Cosmic Madmen:
They don't just want a world, they want the whole universe! Guys like Thanos and Darkseid are powerhouses that only levels of Superman and Thor can succesfuly take on. But ussualy these guys have some tragic past or inner demons that make you kinda feel sorry for them and just defeat them for the sake of the greater good. Thanos probably wouldn't be such a titan of assholio if he got an actual girlfriend instead of fawning over an embodiment like Death, and Darkseid just needs some therapy sense his daddy didn't love him.
The Pure Evil:
These guys were born, raised, and live to be wicked. Wether from the lakes of fire or the nineth circle, guys like Malebogia and Mephisto live to cease. About thier only true goal is to corrupt and devour as many innocent (and sometimes uninnocent.) souls as they can as part of some cruel unholy game. Their problem is they underestimate the power of good and take for granteed what morality can bring. A power they will never know which is why they are so obssesed with it. Mephisto would be able to accomplish worlds more of evil if he pushed Wolverine to the brink of insanity instead of trying to get Captain Marvel to sell his pure soul.
The Pains in the Asses:
If there's anything worse then a guy with cosmic powers who wants to take over the universe, it's a guy with cosmic powers who wants to play! With wierdos like Impossible Man and Mr.Myxyplixt who bend reality just for fun, you never know when you're fighting Doomsday or one of Batmite's baloon creations.
