Polititians....ugh
You've had a long and hard day at work or school, you come back home hoping to relax and turn on the television. 3 out of the 5 channels you get here (UK) currently has something on politics, and once again you get into the same routine. First you have an opinion, then you get slightly frustrated, and then you realize that once again it is impossible to distinguish fact from fiction in what polititians and party leaders promise and say and you leave your room with the usual feeling of nausea and tiredness.
Does anyone else ever get this?
I figure one way of knowing that all polititians lie about their policies is the fact that 99% of the time you never see any of them admitting for any mistakes, even polititians cant be perfect!
(I am NOT suggesting a revolution where we wipe out all polititians and end up living like wolves in tribes that belong to Gengis Kahn, so please dont bombard me with criticisms on how wrong i am to suggest it)

Then vote for a smaller party that is more likely to own up so that they can keep their seat.

Politicians are the tools of politics, a pseudo realistic system whose sole function is to abuse people.
-
Politicians are ghey.
Well their blatant lies and greed annoy me, among other things. Unfortunately I can't just not give a crap though...oh how I wish I could be apathetic like I was in 9th grade. :(

"The government consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can't get and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time is made good by looting A to satisfy B. In other words, government is a broker in pillage, and every election is sort of an advanced auction sale of stolen goods."
-H. L. Mencken.
"The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities."
-Ayn Rand
"In general the art of government consists in taking as much money as possible from one class of citizens to give to the other."
-Voltaire

Sasquatch Voltaire, Ayn Rand, and H.L. Mencken said it.
