They're supposed to announce a new FF8-2 in the next Jump mag though. I just don't think they'll subtitle.
Although FF8-2:Zell Attacks might be fun
Id rather play a remake. When will the next jump mag be released? How often are they released?
I think it's may 16th. not sure though.
I dont like sequels much but i hate remakes even more so hopefully theres no remake. I could handle a sequel.

I would play a prequel with Laguna Kiros and Ward. I think that may have potential, I seriously doubt a sequel could be any good at all.
i would love to see a sequel to ff8, maybe somthing about an evil sorceress (sp?) taking over a girl.....or has that been done before? :p
id also love to see a remake for it. although a prequel would be cool
