yeah I've seen them looks sweet you probably need a ultra fast card and computer to play Unreal 3
Yes I saw an actual video of the guys showing how it all works at some show. Was amazing. It's a lot better in motion.
I hope a PS3 FF uses the engine.
Admittidly, it looks as if the next generation of games will rock graphically. After hearing a rumour about price though Im starting to wonder if its all moving a bit too fast.
Probably the best graphics in a game you will see, the detail is frightning. However I reckon Splinter Cell designers will produce photo realistic graphics in a few years by the look of Chaos Theory it's nearly there.
Oh, for the love of GOD! Graphics aren't supposed to be THAT realistoc.
I was not like     and I'm not really impressed. I swear, people will gawk at anything if you just say it's impressive. Oh-wow! Look at the gaming industry now, they're using more polygons! Who could've predicted this advancement? I don't see how that's any more visually enthralling than any of Squarenix's cut scenes.
People rabbit on about the Half Life Source engine, but this looks better.
and it acualy uses fewere polygons in the in-game mesh than in the sorce art.... 1 character can be 1.5million poly in the sorce art but there 12,000 in the in-game mesh
heres an in-game modle to go by
I really like what I'm seeing of the Unreal 3 engine! Looks nice! Though I think it could get even better. lol So far they've only showed a tiny bit of it, from UT2007 lol.
Luckly, the PS3 can use the engine... but doesn't have too, cause I prefer seeing different games, using different engines. I'd like to see another FF game using simmilar graphics style to FF9 but in the increadable PS3 quality! ^_~
Its quite amazing to see all the different engines that different game companies can create! Anything from cell shaded anime (which will looks great on the PS3) to the UT style!
I can't wait to see more! lol
I found a link to the best site for this engine...http://www.unrealtechnology.com/html...ogy/ue30.shtml
okay, i've seen what the ps3 can do, and i still don't believe that that can be in game.Quote:
