Depends of course a lot on where you live.
Like in my home country, I've never dreamed of finding one anywhere.
What the hell is a doujinshi?
Copyright laws are lax enough in Japan that anybody can draw and sell comics featuring characters from their favorite anime or video games or whatever just as long as they don't make too much money. These fan-made comics are called doujinshi. It's a big thing.
You'll have a hard time finding them anywhere but the internet. You'd have to have a really good local anime/comic store.
J-List and Ebay have lots if you choose to buy from the internet.
