Organized Crime = supplying terrorists in the 21st Century

In this 21st century, the everyday person is very much aware of the dangers and evils facing mankind - nuclear war, terrorism,environmental disaster - but there's a disturbing level of ignorance to the growth of organized crime.The UN, assisted by various law-enforcement agencies from around the world, has identified organized crime as a very real threat to the modern world. Organized crime supports terrorism-links between black market cartels and terrorist organizations are allegedly rife andthedistribution of weaponry and dangerous materials iswidely available to anyone with the right kind of connections and the right money.
Criminal fraternities are clearly a component in the dangerous network of terrorist groups threatening our peace and democracy - the goverments of the world must commit men and resources to active international law enforcement before nuclear material falls into the hands of the enemy and the world is confronted with impending catastrophe.

What do you expect us to say? It's a bad thing. But not particularly unexpected. Organized crime can be found anywhere that there's money to be made.

I think the problem is where the line between 'organised crime' and 'government' is blurred.
