okay we all can agree that ares dies no matter what right? and she cant be rivied right *i wish* lets just agree that she was to die at disk 2-3 insted. When can you get to the ice place anyways?

SO it had to be the northern cave area., Further more the backgroud is dark, their is no archurexture of the city of the ancit ists all bare like the mountain..
And why does sephy have no gloves on top and gloves for no reaosn at all apptet? FMV are always correct unless they are shown to early. Like how can we not see cloud when he drope ares? and just becae she is dead her hair comes undine?

Yes, that's a stupid mistake. However, it's easily explained by the fact that the game FMVs were made first. The environment maps (on which we can see the glass dome) were made in the following year and a half by different development members. That's the reason for the inconsistency.

The altar is there. That is architecture. In any event, everything else was dark so as to put the focus on the Sephiroth form and Aerith.

Because it's an error. One of several that the FMV and the game itself has. One could as easily ask why Aerith's face is to the stairs when the FMV begins, but then her back is to them at its end.

For that matter, the point FFVII Citadel made about the Sephiroth form not being visibile when it had no gloves at the same time Aerith was on-screen is false. Here's proof: Linkage.

When fired at Midgar, the Sister Ray fires a beam of Mako through Diamond WEAPON and all the way to the barrier that prevented entry into the Northern Crater. What's interesting about this is that if one positions the Highwind directly above the Sister Ray on the World Map, lining the ship up with the giant cannon, and then flies in a straight line toward the Northern Continent, following the path which a beam fired by the Sister Ray should travel, the path that one will follow misses the Northern Crater by a large margin.


Cosmo Canyon Taking a Walk Across the Sea:

There are clearly mountains in the area surrounding Cosmo Canyon:

Further, Cosmo Canyon lies on a seperate continent from Midgar. However, during the game's ending FMV, Midgar is in plain sight of Cosmo Canyon with no mountains obstructing one's view of the city, nor is there an ocean lying between the two locations:

Like Spira's core, where Pyreflies (Spirit Energy) freely moved about in close proximity, when Cloud looks up at the sphere above him, there are small orbs of energy floating about.

We find another similarity when looking at the Gaia of Earth in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within: The Gaia. While we can't determine from this shot if the energy below Aki and Gray has a sphere form, based on its depth within the Earth and the nature of density within the Earth, it's safe to assume (as even the metallic core of our own Earth is believed to be a sphere due to density).

While not a very elaborate explanation, I believe that the simplicity of this theory adds to its plausibility, and that it is the most likely of all all possible explanations.

O.K but ive got a question what is sephiroth. i remember in a flashback that he isnt human is he an ancient or a monster or something else.

Sephiroth was a human whom was unfortunately born son to a mad scientist called Hojo. Hojo decided to experiment on his son (possibly before he was born I'm not sure cus I havent played it in a while) and injected him with jenova cells - the first Jenova experiment which made Sephy special. He then had the mako treatment like every SOLDIER dude. Does that answer the question?
And for future reference could those who want to make INTELLIGENT suggestions concerning Aeris or any other argument please make their writing at least vaguely coherant, I could barely understand this thread-starter at all. Unintelligent arguments can be saved for little schoolkids who believe anything.

Not completely. People always seem to forget that the JENOVA Project was Gast's and that Hojo and Lucrecia (Sephiroth's parents) were his assistants. Both Hojo and Lucrecia willingly offered up both her and their unborn child to experimentation, and Gast and Hojo both carried out the injection procedure, injecting Lucrecia's womb with JENOVA Cells:

There is no piece of armor called a Wizard Bangle. The closest thing would undoubtedly be a Wizard Bracelet, but you receive one for the first time following the fight against Jenova∙LIFE, at which point Aeris has already left the party and died. Further, one can buy as many Wizard Bracelets as desired at Mideel. Aeris does have a weapon called the Wizard Staff, as well as one called the Wizer Staff. In both cases, however, they can be bought in bulk in Junon during Discs 2 and 3, and could only be used by Aeris anyway.

well yeah tiny detail... its not that important, the important thing is he was human but got experimented on, injected with Jenova cells then treated with mako .. he wasnt bred as a monster really. Hojo was the main evil scientist anyway, Ghast gave up and (SPOILER) had baby Aeris with Ifaina well it roughly happened like that, remembering it been a long time since I played this game!

ya know that thing with the wizard bangle thing that happened to me but it wasnt the bangle it was the bahamut materea i was so pissed off but then just before i destoyed the world i noticed that the materia aeris had was put in my inventory.(phew)and thanks for the help about sephiroth and stuff.
