when you first name the character Tifa, name her "Aeris" and when u get Aeris, name her "Tifa"! i know it sounds crazy but i just tried it and when u go to the city of the ancients, sephiroth kills tifa instead of aeris!! no joke, i just tried it!

No, we all know the best way to keep Aeris alive is to delete your game save right before you enter the City of Ancients. and then you start the game all over again and delete your save again right before the City of ancients. Repeat ad nauseum. Of course, you'll never finish the game, but at least, Aeris won't die. Duh!
This way works aswell, but Tifa doesn't die in the process either.Quote:

Yeah it works becuase if you name tifa aeris and aeris:tifa then hes going to kill tifa. :rolleyes2
