FFXII hasn't got a confirmed date for anywhere in the world yet, just a seasonal estimate for Japan and North America. There is currently no word on when it will reach Europe or Australasia, but I would imagine that we have to find out when it's reaching NA & Japan a fair while before we get it outside those two places.

Can Aussie Playstations run NTSC games? If not, you can always find an NTSC adapter, and then import the game when it is released in North America.
Confirmed reports say Australia got FFXII 3 years ago when a wormhole split open an interdimensional portal to an infinitely reversified galaxy where the game was already out. Read the newspaper.
