In order for me to make gil the way I do, I need to create and delete a new character every few days. And it's such a huge pain to have to go through that "Welcome to Bastok/Windy/Sandy, new adventurer" intro every. single. time.
Is there a way to skip the intro?
Not to my knowledge....well only one..stop remaking characters :p

You could probably spend your time farming something decent, rather than getting gil through a new character. =P
I make 100,000 in less than 2 hours with each new character I make and then delete. I like my gil making method thankyouverymuch. ;)
Damn you redoing quests O_o...its easier to craft
Crafting -costs- money. I suppose you could make some modest income if you had something like cooking or woodworking levelled where you make consumables, but for us poor blacksmiths...*sniff*...we're only wanted when someone wants to make a Hauby instead of buying it from the AH.
It costs money but makes enough back :P So there.
