For those of you who dont know, Richard Whitley presented a very popular brittish game show called "Countdown", i was raised by countdown, my Grandma set me doen in front of it and i learned my first words from the show.
Whitley hosted the show for 22 years and was only 61 may he rest in peace :choc:
I'll miss his crazy ties and lame jokes. Whitley was a legend. :(
What the hell is daytime TV gonna be like without Whitley? ;__; this is tragic.
Yeah, I just saw this on a friend's LJ. I was never a huge fan, but he was a likable fellow, and it's sad to see someone go that young.

I still watched Countdown. Plus, it came out of the blue of his death, cause he was getting better and it just all happened all so quick. I'm quietly annoyed.
61 years old, so young for this era.

its really sad, Countdown is so great and he was only Middle Aged, Carol was very upset apparantly
