Fetuses absorb one another all the time. This is a special case, of course, since the fetus that got absorbed survived instead of just being diluted prior to birth, but it's not surprising.

I thought they were just making that kind of up when I was watching the Venture Brothers.

Not suprising? I find in any case that if a fetus is in a male, something is not right

I find instances like this somewhat blur the lines between living and non-living. If I was the kid who was 'housing' the fetus, I certainly wouldn't wanna be hanging round after the op to see what had just been extracted out of my body.

The phenomenon itself is somewhat common, but it's amazing that it could stay alive for 16 years.

I've heard about that from my boss at work. It's quite an interesting phenomenon, and quite an uncommon thing to happen.

so was the fetus devoloping or living inside the body but where was it? and how?

Creepy.

At least it wasn't attached to his head.

this is exactly like venture bros maybe the 16 yr old ate his own twin when he was in the womb.

It's called "foetus in foetu". It's pretty freaky, but it happens.
