Advertisements.

How many times a day do you guys click on them? I decided to make this thread for some reasons;

1: I'm curious to how many times you guys/girls click them
2: maybe it will encourage some users to try out the advertisements, and help EoFF.


I try to click them as much as possible, ofcourse, I'm not exactly sure how they work for EoFF to get paid, I dont know if they get paid every single time I click a link, or if its IP related, of course there must be some limit, because otherwise someone could click on it all day and make EoFF (Cid, I beleive) a millionaire.

I never remember to click them, but if I found out how much doing so would benefit the site I'd be much more encouraged to do so. I imagine you can only click once a day and it logs your IP, or something, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, thats basically what I meant by, helping eoff.


I think it would be wise to let people on eoff know how much they can make if people click on the link, rather then just asking us to support eoff and click the link without any other background info as to what it is, or how much they make, to encourage us to do it more often.

Anyways - off topic, its late, I'm going to sleep, hopefully more discussion about this tomorrow. Night eoff. ;p

one time on a topic about porn I saw an advertisement for porn and bought a years worth of modelling clay from the site

I click on the ads on EoFF whenever I remember and am bothered to click on them :p

I click on some of the FFXI "Buy Gil" ads just so I can go to those sites and scream at the computer, OH MY FREAKING GOD, YOU FREAKING GIL SELLERS ARE RUINING THE FREAKING GAME.

But yeah, I'll try to remember to click on more ads.

My pop-up blocker blocks most of it. The rest of them, I generally don't click on them.

I am never going to *clicks ad* starting now *clicks 3 more* that doesn't count. Actaully nI have never clicked on any of the ads

My reaction to seeing ads is to click the Adblock option in the corner from a firefox plugin, to ensure I never see that ad or related ones from the same site again :p

Unless the ad is somewhat creative in how it shows, such as this one I saw recently, in which case I look to see how it works, then block it :D

Do they still find adverts related to keywords on the page?

I click them when there's something besides 'FFXI GIL'

Like that one about Algona Iowa hotels xD And there's been some for love potions xD

Googleads are the only ones that I don't use adblocker on, on principle.

They don't interest me in the least, so no I don't click them.

But I suppose I should start, I don't know. Maybe.
