Stick up your bum?

Maybe I missed it elsewhere, but I am a little suprised no one has mentioned anything about Jack Thompson, the lawer spearheading the campaign against Rockstar. In most recent news he pushed for congress to fund research on effects of videogames on youth and organized a protest outside Take Two (subdivision of Rockstar) demanding they not release "Bully" (a game still in developement) among other things.

Has Rockstar and video games in general gone too far or was this guy just born with a stick up his bum?

Ah VG cats, how I love thee. Rockstar has often flourished due to controversey but it was very foolish to have a mod like that just waiting to be found in the game, and their going to suffer financial setbacks with GTA pulled from the shelves. Thompson and the others *cough*Hillary *cough* are simply vultures wanting to advance their career by getting a slice of the publicity pie.

I think the main reason is that most of us don't take Thompson seriously enough to have him worth more than a passing mention.

He generally irritates me, but I don't see a McCarthy-esque witch hunt brewing, so I don't have a problem with it.
