May he rest in peace. He was a really good anchorman, and it's sad to see him dead.

RIP- p jizzle
I liked him, he was a cool anchorman.
Holy. That's a real shock.
I am rather shocked myself, I don't really know what to say.
He was the best of th ecurrent crew of anchormen. He will be missed.
You've got to be kidding me.
I grew up seeing and hearing the man and never expected to hear that he died...not atleast until I was twice as old as I am now.
This sucks. :(
I knew he was sick, cancer and all, but this is still very unexpected. It was only months ago that he announced his illness. I heard about it this morning and was competely shocked. Condolences to his family and RIP Peter Jennings.
As a reporter and an achorman, he actually had some journalistic integrity, unlike his counterpart over at CBS. He didn't even get a formal retirement, did he? How saddening. :(
Yeah I heard about this. RIP, and tongiht Im gonna make a special effort to see ABCs World News Tonight
My sentiments exactly.Quote:

I love that "Answering Machine" message that they gave Jennings in the third season of Family Guy....Classic.
