I race for ages trying to get those dang materias from chocobo racing, and then when one comes up in the three different things u can win, i get a phlipin pheonix down or somthing crud... dus anyone know how the system works so as to get them more often... like wot rank is best and stuff??? :confused:

The best way is to race until you get to s rank and then when your chocobo is at s rank keep racing until you have won like 15-18 races in a row and Ester will give you one of every item like the cats bell!!
Oh yeah and don`t double post, I know I`m not an admin or anythin but it`s better you hear it from me then them so you have a chance to edit your last post.

learn how the bets go, and get the materia you need. i never found much use out of those materias, but some is good. some isnt.
