Sunglasses

Let's discuss sunglasses. What are your reasons for wearing/not wearing sunglasses? What kind of sunglasses do you prefer? Why do the cooler ones cost so damn much?

I used to wear sunglasses because I'd get dry eyes staying outside too long. Now I wear them because I'm so used to wearing them I get blinded by the light otherwise. That, and I like people not being able to look into my eyes. I like the reflective wireframe style the most, or basically the style in this picture, but they don't cover the sides of my eyes and sometimes I'd like more protection than that. My price range has traditionally been very low (think Target), but I would like a nice new pair soon, but I am unwilling to pay those higher Sunglass Hut prices.

I haven't worn sunglasses in years. I kind of want to get some new ones to wear, but I have to wear regular glasses when I drive places, making sunglasses kind of pointless.

I have prescription sunglasses. Don't leave home without 'em!

I don't wear them, I don't really need them, and I don't like how they look on me.

I think I was the only lifeguard at the pool I worked at who didn't wear them.

i always looked stupid in sunglasses, but i had to get prescription sunglasses for driving the other day and they dont look as bad, so yea i wear sunglasses

I only wear sunglasses when I want to secretly watch people. Kind of like a spy or an assassin. You know. If I'm walking down the street and I want to watch someone walking ahead of me, I don't want to be seen. I want them to think that I'm looking across the street and not at them. Or watch people through their windows. That's always fun. But I don't usually wear sunglasses for anything other than spying. If I did, they would be black to shade my eyes. But when I wear sunglasses, I must wear a hat and a long trench coat.

I use them to conceal my eyes and therefore my emotions. And to avoid getting blinded, of course.

Oh yeah, I forgot that they were used for that >.<

I occasionally wear sun glasses, sometimes just because it goes with my outfit (not if its pouring down with rain or something, ofcourse).
I wear those fairly big sunglasses that have a goldy/brown tint.
I do actually have a picture, but I'm not on my home computer as I am in Newcastle.

I always wear sunglasses outside whenever it's a really sunny day. My eyes can get quite dry due to the sun. And even when I'm driving, I need to wear my sunnies.

I hate sunglasses, I don't like it when people cover their eyes, it makes me distrust them.
