FF Lookalikes

I was looking at screenshots of FFXII and came across the attached image. My first thoughts were "That man looks like Laguna (FFVIII)... and that castle reminds me of Alexandria (FFIX)." Does anyone else agree? Also, has anyone else come across FF lookalikes in weird and wonderful locations?

I'd say close, but no cigar, except I don't honestly think its all that close. That dude looks kinda evil...

The matter has actually already come up in the FFXII forum. The character's name is Vayne Kaldas Soridor.

As for the matter of the castle conjuring up images of Alexandria, there are certain similarities. They don't seem to be that profound, though.

I dont think he looks at all like Laguna. He has longish black hair, but that's it... Laguna has a much softer, fuller face and gentler features, while Vayne's face is longer and sharper.

It's the hair. And I agree with T.A on this. But when you look at him, you DO think of Laguna...

The only Laguna feature I spy on him is his hair. I'd say his face looks like a younger version of General Caraway from VIII. I agree with the background looking like Alexandria. Alot of the places this game has a similar look to IX. Course, thats not a bad thing, IX had some of the best places.
