Wouldn't it be something to end the Final Fantasy series with a game that would let you team up with all of the characters from VI-XIII? Occasionally you would have to switch up sides to save the universe from something. Here's my party if I was going to play what's yours?
Squall, Quistis, Amarant, Cloud, Yuna, Ashe, Tidus, and Vincent.
I think to do so would, to some extent, discredit the plotlines of the actual games. However, some sort of obviously "alternate universe" type thing, such as a newer Ehrgeiz, would be pretty awesome.

4-6 would be either galuf or locke. But I like the characters of auron, yuna, squall, and rinoa better xD
First off You need the greatest mage to walk the earth, "Black Mage" and his Hidoken
But from 6+, Sabin, Vivi, Amerant, Edger, Celes, Vincent.
Just gimme a chainsaw, shotgun and a Book of the Dead and I'll quite happily lead any union charge into unchartered territory.
I hate crossover-type things, so I really, really hope it doesn't happen. Ever. >=)
The only FF union worthy of happening is my marital union to Heidegger.
I'd say ALL The FF's, not just VI and up.
