Bush's approval rating down by 45 %

In a recent interview of Americans between 25 and 50 regarding the Bush administration,Bush's popularity has declined by a further 45%.

Anyone surprised ?

The President's rating were on the decline in the first place even before Katrina was formed. Bush had the chance to use the disaster to pick up his ratings a bit if he had acted earlier, but he blew it, and his ratings are continuing to fall.

he had 45% to lose?! I find that more amazing.

wow, 45% is a real big deal. one would expect that aproval ratings for a such simple-minded president would drop somewhere along 20-25% after all the "bush is the mesiah" propaganda. i certainly am surprised.

sorry has bush's populairy decline to 45% or by 455? becase the last time i checked it was at 45% anyway and a 45% drop would make it 30%.

Actually, after a major diaster, the public usually rallies around the President. Nothing like a good attack to bring the nation together. Bush's approval rating after 9/11 was something like 90%. And you gotta understand, the disapproval in Bush right now isn't just coming from "Bush haters" it's coming from Republicans and Democrats alike. And Bush knows he didn't do a great job handling the situation as he's doing major damage control at the moment.

i think that was my point. 9-11 say bush's rating go from 50% to 90% then steadily decline since. i think the 45% rating has been like for a few months infact.

I really can't believe this idiot is still in office. But yes, I am surprised his ratings are so low - I had figured that the Christian Right had such a chokehold on America that we would never be able to get rid of him.
