Are you asking what Gameshark codes are?
To use them, you first need to buy a Gameshark.

Then, you can put the CD in your PS2, select the game you want to play and its cheats, and play your game. For FFX-2, there are various codes for having max levels, max gil, dresspheres, accessories, etc.
But you must purchase a Gameshark to use those codes.
