I cant remember what I had making Vivi amazing!

I have 2 memory cards for my playstation and the one with my ff9 file is on the one which is broken now since it always says "Memory card may be damged" "File may be damaged" or "Memory card not detected please Insert". Anyways, I hade Garnet doing double damage from summons but I am pretty sure that was from a Pumice Piece. I also had Vivi doing double damage with his black magic and at the same time I had his spells cost half mp. Think the abilities were Half Mp and MagicAttackUp(at least thats what they are called in FFT). The problem is that I have no idea wihch items they were that did this! I think one is black robe that also gives Vivi flare but i'm still not positive on what they are/where I get them. Can anyone at least give me the items names if they no them?

There are no support abilities like MagicAttackUp in FFIX. You may have had Vivi equipped with an item that enhanced the element of the attack, like using Blizzaga with the Magus Hat will do more damage because the Magus Hat raises Ice element attacks, especially if the target is actually weak to Ice. Other than that I don't know what you did.

I think he may have been wearing the black robe since im pretty sure it gives flare/boost in flares damage, only really used flare after i got it since meteor either isnt as good or jsut never hits pretty much

The Black Robe teaches Flare, but doesn't give a boost to Flare's damage.

Well here's something, black robe teaches flare correct but also teaches the ability reflectx2. Now that sounds just like reflect but it actually in description says it doubles spell damage by casting reflect.

have reflect X2 on as many characters as possible and cast reflect on everyone(auto reflect makes it even better.) then cast flare, meteor,blizzaga or something on your whole party and double damage spells bounce of all of them. 4X9999 damage.

That is a good technique but it also sucks at the same time 'cos you have to cast reflect on the enemy if you want to Cure/Cura/Curaga anybody, and it'll reflect onto a random member of your party and not necessarily the one you wanted to heal...

Auto Haste,Auto Reflect and Auto Regen-->three best Auto Ability of mine.Oh and you can cast Healing spell when encounter zombie/undead(that trend in the Iifa three for example)

I forgot. also cast reflect on the enemy and cast vure on him and itll bounce of and hit you.and if its a stupid boss it will cast spells and you party anyway and kill himself.

That's why there is the Reflect-Null ability, it bypasses the reflect spell and lets your cure spells go through even if you party has reflect cast on them.
