Speed up or slow down at a yellow light?
I would speed up.

I dont drive, but my dad speeds up, I would too.

It all depends on how far i am from the light. If im so far away that it will be red before i get to it then ill slow down but if im really close ill speed through it.

Ditto. If I'm far enough away to safely come to a stop before it turns red, I'll stop. If I won't be able to stop without slamming on the brakes, I'll usually just keep going the same speed, or I might speed up a little bit. The idiots that speed up at every yellow light are just stupid, and it's fun watching them get pulled over.

Would is the key word here.

I don't drive, but if someone was about to cross the road I'd slow down. If there was no one, I'd speed up.

Usually I slow down because I'm a woman careful driver ^__^

It depends on the situation, but I do not like to jam on my brakes if I'm too close so in those situations I will just go through.

Where I live, main highways have warning lights ahead of the traffic lights that will start to blink if the light will be yellow by the time you get to it at the posted speed. So when I see those go on I start to slow down even though I still see a green light because I know from experience that it will be yellow or red by the time I get to it.

Speed up if I'm close enough. Slow down if I'm not.
