My most personally exciting rmxp project to date.

im creating a game inspired by, Super Mario Bros, Maple Story, Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy VII.

Super Mario Bros: Travelling around the world map like classic super mario world 3 games.
Maple Story: Skills, Weapons.
Final Fantasy X-2: varying Monster combinations causing you to have to think.
Final Fantasy VII: Twisted Story.

update: CBS is finished visual wise... instead of having a preset battle background it takes a screenie of the map your on.

That's pretty cool.

Have you been working out your battler graphics yet? It's probably a good idea to get a small character picture from somewhere and place it next to your HP at the bottom of the battle window, Lufia style.

I've been doing something similar, and I've got two Taru party members, Icewires and Blimpz. My ultimate goal is to take a picture of a white mage taru and a black mage taru and slap them at the bottom of the screen.

i know a script that lets me use the character sprite, add in a hp bar, and an mp bar... cant forget it also adds a battle system like FFVIIs one... whats it called again (bassically a waiting metre)?

Damn, you've got to show me where you learned how to use Ruby. I've been trying to learn it but I'm just so lost.

The battler graphic you select from the Actors tab will be displayed as a picture down by your HP. You can also insert custom pictures there.

dude.... the graphics conflict with eachother as they are all different.

yeah, as i said before the character sprite will be there in place where battler would ussually stand.

be a second or so while i find a script (i have almost no knowledge of rgss)
