I've attempted this, but I have never seen the ball return, yet I people claim you can do this more than once.
You have more than one opportunity to do this, which what they probably mean.
Well, the ball doesn't return, so how do you do it more than once?
Um... get back on the ship or if you fail, reset.
It wont let me on the ship.
It will later in the game, once the events in Luca are over.
If you miss on the first try, you can't get it until after the blitzball tournament.
