I'm American, and I heard of her from a British friend. I really like her voice. I love her song Innocent Eyes and she's a good pianist. :) Since no one really knows of her here, she's not overplayed, or even played at all, so I don't get sick of her.
Oh. Wanna get her USA debut album? Born to Try comes out on October 25th.
Isn't that basically Innocent Eyes? I have that album already. I wanted her new album, but it was 30 dollars! Imported music = :(
It's actually a mixture of Innocent Eyes and Mistaken Identity, plus a brand new song called "Never Fades Away".
You can't live in Australia and not hear of her - she's a superstar down here. She does have a beautiful voice, my favourite song of her's would be 'Innocent Eyes'.

The only song I've heard by her was a duet with some guy, called "Almost Here"...it was nice.
My girlfriend is into her somewhat. I've not listened to her myself, but the lady usually has good taste in music, and at any rate I'll sooner or later end up listening to her stuff whether I want to or not.
I know her mainly through the Brian mc Fadden drama.
