This is about his movies, not politics. I know they're sort of tied together, but I'm trying to see what people think of him as a director, not an activist/hero/filthy socialist weasel.

I liked Bowling for Columbine and thought it was well done. I slept through Farenheit 9/11 so I couldn't tell you about that one. And that's all I've seen.
I know who he is, but I don't recognize any of those movies.
I really hate that guy. He blows things totally out of proportion. I have seen Bowling for Columbine, he makes some good points, but mostly I disagree with everything he says.
He has a way with demonizing just about everybody he comes into contact with to promote his point of veiw. With that said, I liked Farenheit 9/11 the most.
I've seen two of his films: Farenheight 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine...
I liked alot of the points in Bowling for Columbine, but I thought some of it was pure BS to the point of lol. It was the film I prefered.
Farenheight 9/11 was very interesting, and I liked it, even though I'm pretty sure his purpose for making that on was less than nobel.
As for what I think of the man as a whole? He's a big fat silly billy.
I only saw Farenheit 9/11 and I didn't think it was very well put together. Not necessarily bad, but certainly not good either. I like to watch documentaries, and I thought that one was just not up to par.
I very much enjoyed his propaganda films!
im so sick of u ppl hating on michael more ur all fascists
As a director, I feel he's fairly decent. As for his documentaries, I'm sure there's many that would call him a "propagandaist" but then so are all people who ask questions in times of extreme patriotism. Whether you agree with his films or not, you have to respect the fact that he's taking risks by asking questions no one wants to ask.
Currently, I'm reading this book called Lies My Teacher Told Me. It actually considers many things in history that we are not taught in school for the sake of glorifying individuals in history. Perhaps, not knowing the full truth about our history keeps us from learning from our mistakes. Instead we repeat these mistakes over and over. Perhaps, if we started questioning our government more, we could see a real change in our future rather than the repetition of historical events. :)
I think they're all junk.
Fellowship 9/11, now there was a piece of high quality work...
Michael Moore is a fat dick.
Rush Limbaugh is a fat dick.
Him too.
True, but then, what to you expect? He's talking about men who start wars because of greed. The reason he demonizes them is the same reason Castro never stood up and said 'Now this Batista. I know he's got a lot of bad press lately, but he's a pretty good guy, really'.Quote:

Actually, I have to agree with you there- Farenheit 9/11 seemed a little sloppy. A lot of it felt like he was so busy trying to shock you, that he let the actual quality of the film slide.Quote:
