I'm embarassed to admit it, but I like that first hit song of his. The one where he's like "Shake that thing, Miss Annabella" or something. I can't help but be amused by his unusal talking. xD Other than that, I don't like him, it's not my cup of tea. :)

Yes, that's "Get Busy" Rye, and I love it.

The rest of his stuff just annoys me though, especially "JES GIMMIE DA LIGHT".

Ya "We Be Burnin" is a good song but hard to understand after the "we be burnin" part

I actually don't mind him much. I certainly wouldn't buy one of his CDs, but I'm not always inclind to turn his music off as soon as I hear it on the radio, unless it's "Gimme The Light" or whatever.

I like the songs

His Jamaican accent is so FAKE! When he speaks, he speaks normally, without the accent.

I used to like his old stuff, He's ok. Theres alot worse

i still like him, hes never made a bad song IMO, I have nearly all his stuff on my comp.But He was way better when he was doing Reggae tunes with Elephant Man and Buju Banton back in the day.......
