Yes, because my mom is a Final Fantasy fan. I also watch movies with my dad all the time. Though... I don't even know why this question is "for those who have seen it" but yeah, I'll finally see it Tuesday if all goes well. =)

I see well, my uncle got my mom into FF and she got me into it when I was 4. xD And then I used to watch horror movies with my dad quite a bit... so yeah, my parnets would be fine. =)

Nay, they wouldn't undestrand anything. My father just wouldn't be interested and my mother would say "What's this crap?"

I would gladly watch it with my parents, but my dad's never home for that long at one time, and my mom just doesn't give a smurf. :)

A bunch of friends and I got together and watched it (used duel S-video to set up the TV as a primary display), and given that it's more an enjoyable action film than a moving storytelling experience, I had no problem watching it with a few of the friends who've never played the game.

EDIT: I'm sayin' I wouldn't mind seeing it with any non-series fan, parents included.

god no. I feel embaressed watching normal tv with them.

Sure, why not. It's not really their thing but I wouldn't have any problems with having them watch it with me. They probably wouldn't be too entertained though.
