FFX, obviously.
Although you can't really count FFXII yet...
Thats true to a degree but looking at the background in screenshots in trailers the city style is really beautiful and unique. I think its a middle eastern style but I could be wrong.Quote:

I love the nackgronds in FFVIII, the dark feel the game gives and the attention to detail in FMV's. For me the most beautiful is FFVIII wathout any competition, I prefer the feel and style to X's and think it was done as well.

ok, ill be honest, I guess I think FFX is most beautiful....
I don't know. VII and VIII were both really ugly, as much as I loved both of those games. X was nice-looking I suppose.
But from what we've seen, XII looks like it's going to be excellent in this particular area! I think I'll vote for IX though. :heart:
From a design standpoint, I liked FF9's look the most.

How can you possibly call VIII ugly, the wonderful FMV's which are amazing, the highly detailed backgrounds and great character design... how could you?:( :( :(
VIII was the most beautiful to me. I wish this poll was multiple because I thought V was pretty damn beautiful too. So colourful.
i thought ten was the most beautiful. obviously it IS because of the advances in technology when it was made, but it is such a lush, varied environment, ranging from open grasslands, to mountains, to forests even to ice lakes. no comparison for me.
FFVIII! It's definately got the most detailed graphics, and they kinda set the atmosphere really well.
