Gradeus or Atma Weapon?
In the Colosseum it is possible to acquire the Gradeus- a pearl-elemental dirk, the type Locke and Shadow can use. Is it worth the Atma Weapon it is exchanged for? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I just did it on one save, and want to know whether to reload the other :D Come on ppl, it be 20 to 6 am and I want to carry on with the game!:P
Kupo!

atma weapon is possibly the best sword in the game if you get up to high health so youd better keep atma weapon.
-
Gracias :D
Now to continue with the game...
-
NO! How could you even contemplate such a thing?!
-
Atma Weapon for Gradeus......:kaocry:
-
Isn't there another way to get the Gradeus anyways?
-
Yep and I just did it. So now I have both anyway.
-
Thank God. For a second there I thought you had done something infinitely stupid.
-
But now we can all sleep at night. :)

You should keep Atma Weapon, BUT you should turn Ragnarok into a sword and trade it for the Illumina, which IMO is the most powerful sword in the game
-
Surely that'd mean no Ultima?
-
well, you can get ultima another way, with crusader esper, but that include you kill the eight dragons,2 of them being in kefka tower...
Anyway, there is a way to get two atma weapon, since the first one is in pre-chaos esper cave, and the other is stolen on atma itself in kefka tower...
finally, why bother using a sword when you just need to boost someone's magic power and use devastating flare-quick-flare-flare-flare-flare combos with the gem box?

Actually, Crusader does not teach Ultima, but Merton, which some deam is better because it hit's your own people for fire element, which if they have the right equipment, will heal them.
Uncurse the curse shield and the Paladin Shield will teach Ultima, and I'd rather use Quick, then Cyan Swd Tech, some people may use quick then genji glove/offering, but I love watching Cyan laugh as no-one else can move and he slices away!
THE JACKEL

yeah, right, paladin shield, my mistake.
but merton IS kickass...

Ah, I'm curreently working on the paladin shield now. Who would have thought, a shield able to teach magic?
