your wealthiest final fantasy party?

not in crassness and all in fun, this is a shallow and rather irrelevant but well-intentioned question : in which final fantasy was your party richest in gil? :moomba:

VIII's because I never end up buying anything, thus, I never go broke and it just keeps building and building.

i was rolling in gil in 7.. and got to use the through gil to fo 9999 always muahaha money is power

When I played FF2 on Dawn of Souls, I was a cheating scumbag and used an FAQ to get the memory game every single time without misses. ;)

VIII for me, but that's because it's the only one I have...

7 because i have so much materia that is sold for a lot including 20 all materia...

FFX, definately.....

I had gil by the tens of millions in one of my FFX playthroughs.

FFVIII. I never had to purchase anything except weapon upgrades, and once you get the GFs refine abilities, plus Tonberry's Haggle and Sell-High, you'll be rolling in money.

VI or VII

In FF7 I sold a bunch of alls and other materials 1.4 million crushes everything.
FF8 had a salary and I sold mega-potions from mesmerize blades in it, but still didn't have more than a couple million.

I had over one million gil in ff2 right before I beat it (nes emu)
I remember having about 2 million in ff8
7 million in ffx.
and those are all I can think of offhand.

FF1 (DoS). I kept maxing out and having to think of stuff to buy.

i lost heaps of money once i visited esthar, because i spent it all on power wrists and elixers, mega phoenix and mega potions when i tried to max out my megaelixer, aura and phoenix pinions which i hardly used... (i could have refined my cards but i wasn't bothered to do so)... so by the end of the game i had only 100000 gil left... pretty low...
