Question about accounts, etc.

I'm currently in my last year of High School, so I delayed getting FF XI until I graduate and go to university, where I will have much more time (hopefuly) for it. The question is, though, how do accouts work; for example: Can my brother and I both use the same account but differrent characters on it, and log on at the same time (using different characters)?... or how does the account system work?:mog:

I'm not getting the game untill the end of the school year, but it's never too late to plan (I'm going to start an elvan Red Mage and that is final)!

No, you can't have the same account and log on at the same time. One of you will get kicked off as soon as you try to log on. ;p

You both need different accounts per game, and that goes for pretty much every game that has online capabilities. It's so the company can't get ripped off by burned discs. :3
