First off, you need a CD-R capable of being overburned. I don't think they make CD-Rs that are easily over burned to 1GB though.
Next, you need a CD-RW drive that can actually overburn CD-Rs as well.
Your best bet is to split the file into 2 pieces and burn it onto 2 CD-Rs or just burn a DVD. :)
how do i split the file into 2 peices??Quote:

THANKS
YES THANKS ALOT MAN I HAD THE SAME PROB!
now can u tell me how to use it im a bit confused
[edit- Don't double post. -rubah]
i used that filesplitter program before. its kinda easy to use. even the without installing software does the job!
it wont let me burn, i think it becuase when it splits it, it turns the file into a .exe file
wutz wrong?
Are you trying to burn it as a data CD (for backup purposes) or VCD (for video playback)? File splitters would only be useful if you want to burn it as data. If you wanted to do a VCD, you'd have to break the MPG into two separate MPG files. I think VirtualDub might be able to handle that.
so i jus rename it as .MPG ??
No. With that file splitting program, it splits the physical data into two separate files that can be put back together on their own. To burn a VCD of an MPG, you need to split them based on the frames of the video, not the individual bytes of data.
Virtualdub can't output mpg though, last time I checked :p
Why are you burning an mpg anyway? Compress it with a better codec like xvid or h264 :p
use tmpg encoder and cut it in two.
My bro tried using that program and all it did was make it messed up...-_- But thanks anyway, Rubah. ^^
