I always thought the characters in FF6 were kinda pretty-looking,
they seemed chubby in a good way and stuff.
For example, I love the looks of Terra, Edgar, Gogo and Kefka.
Their colors add a lot to their nice looks.

I dont think it is bad for its age and year. Personally, I like the Terra and Shadow's design.

Final Fantasy VI is one of those games that the graphics are just plain wonderful. Even if they're in 2D. There are games with 3D graphics that aren't even as pretty.
Yes, the character graphics were and are awesome.
*cough* FFVII *cough*Quote:

I was so happy when I started that the character sprites weren't squares like the ones of FFV.
Hella good.
I liked them. I prefered the colour in V though. But VI's character graphics beat VII's any day.
VI's graphics are some of the best you can find for a SNES game, including character graphics. The only better SNES graphics I saw are from Bahamut Lagoon, and that game came out when Playstation was already there.
Very beautiful
Honestly I prefer 2D graphics to many 3D games. I mean 2D is not that hard to screw up nowadays and games lilke Castlevania: Symphony of the Night has great graphics imho.
Personally, I think Chrono Trigger and Star Ocean beat anything, in terms of graphics.Quote:

2D graphics are near impossible to screw up but its so annoying if they try to make things 3D and good graphics then end up making it look rubbish.
You're all forgetting about the graphics in Super Metroid. I feel that has the best looking graphics for the SNES, along with Chrono Trigger.
Sprites can make funny expressions more easily than 3D models, I think :p
