Public groups

what are public groups, i have looked at many poples profiles and they all say, is not a member of any public groups

I mean, saying you're in a Public Group won't get your name in that area anyways. :)

Not really sure, but I do know that it's one of those features that we just don't take part in for EoFF.

...sort of like Post Counts. We don't do those either. :)

I would imagine that other forums would use them sort of like guilds or cults. The forums I've been to, only one has used them and it was necessarily closed and people were only given access after asking the group administrator. But hten again, it was a harry potter RPG, and you can't just have people going around choosing their own houses!

I think Public Groups would be for RPG forums, like rubah said, for different clans or species.

I think we last used them for Eizon, but they've been disused since :kaoplain:

I figured you guys might have used them for that, but it was before my time (;_;) and I didn't want to make assumptions.

We should use those for the Elections.

I want to make a public group guild. I name it the "We're in a public group and so therefore much better than you, also your socks don't match, loser." guild.

So, how do I go about setting this up? :)
