dumb headed fanboys (Xbox 360)

i heard on the news this morning that somewhere in america, a woman had just purchased her laybye X-Box 360, as she was walking to her car, she was held at gun point.... just for an X-box... come on...

An Xbox is still an Xbox, and the Xbox 360 isnt crap, its just not to my taste. Thats why I dont like it. Still, hes the one with an Xbox 360, for free !

I would say it's utterly rediculous, but I've probably heard of worse. I hope they find the guy. It's bad enough that they resort to stealing an Xbox, but they held her at gun point. I can imagine that's a difficult trauma to get over.

I'm not suprised at all. Its a new, very expensive system, and people tend to get desperate.

Do you actually think gamers are going out and stealing them for themselves?

Criminals are stealing them so they can sell them, it's not "just an XBox" they can go for well over $1000 on ebay.

Um, any gamers who are doing this are criminals. Their motives may differ, but that doesn't really matter.

Well, yes, good point, but he was refering to criminals who steal for money, and I was pointing out that criminals who want games are doing this too.

You may call us dumb-headed but I can say almost the exact same thing about PS2/3 fans.

Do you honestly think someone desperate enough to do something like that would actually use the Xbox 360? They probably pawned it.
