allright i just found out what the numbers mean!!! joy!:D i found it on a sign in the wepon shop in dali (disc 2 when ur controling dagger) it said:

if ur card has a P as the 2nd digit it attacks...

ur card: e.g 4P01
opponents card: e.g 3M29

(green attacks green)

if ur card has a M as the second digit it attacks

ur card: e.g 2M36
opponents card: e.g 1M05

the point of this is i want people 2 post things that might be useful 4 other people in FFIX 1 that i want 2 know is how u see all the ATE's in treno in disc 2 (also when ur dagger)

Not sure about how to see all of them, but just make sure you see "Treno Tradition" and let the mugger steal 1000 gil from Dagger. Then as Steiner go to the synth shop and talk to the mugger and he gives you a Power Belt.
Also, I'm assuming you are in Treno, so, Throw 10 gil into the fountain at the entrance 13 times to get the Stellazzio Gemini. And the Taurus is behind the item shop in the slums. Here's a good strategy for the Weapon Shop monster:
Griffin- Use Steiner and equip the following; Gold Choker, Auto-potion, and Bird Killer. Make sure you sell your all your Potions so your Hi-Potions will be used with Auto-potion. Use a tent on the Griffin so it will get lots of Status effects and then make sure Steiner is at least lvl 7. You can get a Tonberry card if you win.
If you buy some Key Items from the Auction House and can resell them
Unne's Mirror-----sells to---Nobleman walking-------1st offer 12000 gil----2nd offer 15000 gil
around the cafe
Doga's Artifact---sells to---Scholar in synth shop---1st offer 10000 gil----2nd offer n/a
Griffin's Heart----sells to---Adventurer at the cafe--1st offer 8000 gil-----2nd offer 10000 gil
Rat Tail----------sells to---Adventurer at the cafe--1st offer 20000 gil----2nd offer 25000 gil

Dont forget the friendly monster Ghost outside of Treno. And visit Quan's Dwelling to get another Stellazzio around the healing spring.

i have no idea why this is in the FF9 forum but i got tiamat in first place on that quiz then marilith then hydra then lich(i got all the four fiends near the top.)
a useful thing about FF9 if your a school kid would be all of the gemstone names because they could help you in a test maybe(as long as you dont put dark matter as an answer.).

I was Chaos, (duh) but I got Garland in second place which i thought was pretty cool.

i found out in the tree place i can't spell it that u can go with Quina after watching the ATE 'no yummies' and get some add on's u need 2 got 2 the place where u save puck :D

When I was Steiner at the beginning of the game, I accidently went to the kitchen. I found Quina. Then I got her in Quan's Dwelling (you already know that.)

Yeah I never understood why Quina is in the kitchen. Is it Quina, or just a look-a-like Qu?

EDIT: Another thing. In the end (SPOILER)Quina is in the kitchen, also. If that is Quina in the kitchen at the beginning of the game, then she went all over the world and ended where s/he started.
