I didn't even realise you could * with the numpad. Didn't think about it.

If I want to use the numpad for that with my laptop I'd have to use the Fn key anyway, so it's the same difference.

numpad is just too far away from the rest of the keyboard for me.

I'm using a laptop so it's not like I have a choice, but when I'm using my PC I use shift.
