Name changes

Have you had your name changed before? If so, from what - to what? Was the change voluntary or an intentional (and not accidental, before eest asks) act by a malicious administrator? And what is your opinion about nonconsensual name-changing by admins? Is it fun for everyone, or is it proof that all admins are evil and directly against the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of candy? I can remember two name changes for me - both involuntary. RSL Day, my name was changed to Rai St. Lynn, which was rather amusing, as RSL is awesome. And now this one, which is also rather amusing, as it's practically unpronounceable and incredibly long. I guess Kishi needed something to do after coming back from his break.

Before that, I had enjoyed a long period (what, five years?) of peaceful stability-of-name. That I can remember, anyway. Unne or Bleys probably changed my name at least once way back when.

Kishi forcefully changed my name to Ravi Shankar after I made fun of him.

I hope he doesn't find the most recent comment I made about him. :p

As far as voluntary name changes go, I changed from princeofdarknez to -N- because I felt like starting over here, and that worked out well. Besides, I like simplicity, and -N- is as short as a screen name can get. (SNOOZER made an awesome sketch of it. :D) I then got a hat because I was so cool once I started over.

I was debating on asking my name be changed to have a capital b at the begining. I have self esteem issues from it being so small :( I waltz into a thread with all these capitalized names and I get intimidated.

I've been toying with the idea of having my name shortened to just "nik" but I haven't decided if I actually want to do that yet.

I don't remember any of the random name changes I've been subjected to. Except ShlupenisQutesti. That was Bleys for a gender swap a couple years ago.
