Chaos and Death Penalty: Disc 2?

I've been arguing with a guy on this.

I'm sure, sure as anything, that you can get them in Disc 2 once you should be heading for Midgar to kill Hojo. I remember going to do sidequests instead and obtaining Vincent's stuff without having to wait for Disc 3.

Did I smoke too much weed, or what? Please help me refresh my memory.

I got Death penalty and chaos on disc 2, if you go to Lucrecia early as possible then you can get them at disc 2.

You can do this as soon as you get the submarine or as soon as you breed a Green chocobo.

Visit Lucrecia with Vincent on Disc 2, have the flashback, leave, fight 10 battles (Vincent does not need to be in these battles), and return, with Vincent, to collect the Death Penalty and Chaos manual.

I'm the one who smoked too much weed cause I never went back to the cave til disk 3. I thought I knew everything in the game and you guys just taught me so much >cries<
