Just what the average conservative parent has been looking for, a childrens' book with lessons of anti-liberalism: Help! Mom! There are Liberals Under My Bed!

Excerpt from article:

Oh man, too funny. I usually post these kind of things in my LJ, but this one was just too good not to share with everyone.

Isn't this book a couple years old now?

Yeah, I remember when some liberals came and shut down my lemonade business once. They came over with baseball bats and beat me senseless. Actually it might just have been next door's little girl. But she's probably a liberal, as most little girls tend to be.

This is idiotic. Among other things, it's probably crap- conseravtives can't write.
I've got a new version:
Tommy and Lou whine and complain and demand other people's money. They end up demolishing their neighbours house because he owes them lemonade money. Understanadbly annoyed, the neighbour drags them up against a wall and blows their fascist brains out. They proceed to rot, as happy corpses in a wonderful conseravtive-free land.
If you find this offensive, be fair and destroy the offensive book. I will then delete this post. And give you a big friendly apology hug.

I never quite understand the American view of Liberals- here they'e regarded as inoffenisve, compromisng and generally pretty jelly-fish like. I suppose that's because we've had the benefit of a real socialist movement.

This isn't EoEO; keep that kind of tripe out of here. This is to make fun of parents who actually read this kind of crap to their kids, so afraid that they'll one day turn into heathenous commies. Though, judging from the communist population from EoFF, maybe their fear is somewhat justified.

On one level this amuses me greatly, but on another it's just as bad as all the religious crap kids get thrown at them from the day they're born. I'm growing convinced that a lot of the ills in society would be avoided if kids were allowed to form their own values (besides the obvious ones that involve not hurting other people).

That's funny. I don't know if it's supposed to be serious or not, but it seems like something I'd buy a liberal friend of mine as a gag. At least there's an alternative for the drivel like "Heather Has Two Mommies".
